Echeveria 'Midnight'

Echeveria ‘Midnight’ is a cultivar with foliage that develops deep purple to near-black tones when grown in bright light, contrasting against a green to grey-green base in lower light conditions. The leaves are pointed and slightly curved, giving the rosette a layered look that changes in appearance with the seasons. Cooler weather can intensify the darker tones, and occasional stress from temperature shifts or high light levels may bring out hints of red along the leaf edges. In spring to early summer, flower stalks rise carrying orange to red blooms, which stand out against the dark foliage.
